Ok, only two months behind in the blog...yikes.
Today is Nolan's 2nd Birthday and we'll be celebrating with family on Saturday. I'll try to post pictures of the party here sooner than two months from now! He is talking up a storm. Must be all the chatting Leah and I do-he has to make sure he gets his 2 cents in! His favorite sentence right now-"Me do it!" Ahh...the joy of having a two year old. He still runs everywhere, climbs everything and loves to snuggle. He has a sweet, yet mischievous smile most of the time and just when you want to give him away-he flashes the smile and it melts your heart.
Nolan and Leah get along so well (most of the time) and Leah is such a great big sister, looking out for Nolan (and sometimes tattling on him). Most of Leah's friends from playgroup started Kindergarten this year, but since Leah doesn't turn 5 until December 9th, she misses the school cut-off. So she's one of the "Big" girls at playgroup now, and we do have one friend who is also home schooling her daughter. So Leah still has a couple of friends her age we try to see as much as we can during the week.
Not too much new here. Scott is closing in our carport to add a "utility" room on to our house. He and some friends poured concrete a couple weeks ago and the kids are having fun using their side-walk chalk on their very own sidewalk here at home and not the park.
Currently no news about Scott's job. Centex moved their offices to the Pulte offices down the street last week-so this is the first week of integration. We are hoping we will have some news by the end of this month as to whether Scott will stay or go.
